Today it is currently throwing it down with rain. Thank-you Summer - it was nice while it lasted... not that I'm overly fussed, this time next week I'll be lounging be a pool in sunny Corfu, get me on that plane now.

I kinda thought I'd done all my holiday shopping but, yet again, I have a million and one skirts and shorts and NO tops to go with them. So I'm having a last minute splurge on missguided then I'm going to go tie-dye crazy this afternoon on the few plain tops I own.

Dungaree dress - Ark / Blouse - Primark / Shoes - Primark

Just a quick one tonight, I've finally got a pretty white shirt to go with my all my dungaree related clothing and only £12 aswell. I didn't get any pictures of the collar detail but I'm sure I'll be wearing it again soon. I also bagged some flatforms from Primark, I think I'll be taking these only holiday rather than heels (I took 3 pairs last year and wore none of them!) gives me a bit of height and none of the uncomfortableness, winner.

Dress - Topshop / Sandals - Urban Outfitters

I don't want to speak too soon but I think Summer is finally here (and maybe to stay?!) it's nice to be able to wear short shorts and sandals and floaty dresses without the threat of freezing to death or looking daft in te rain with soggy feet.

I got this dress last year and it's still a favourite, I didn't particularly like it until I tried it on which then became my new shopping mantra 'it might look better on than on the hanger' and for me, this is usually the case. I'm finally getting a day off work today and I'm going to spend it picnicing with my boyfriend - that's my cue to leave and go buy some sausage rolls.

Not very summery however, this was something I wore a while back when it was colder (add thick black tights) and went to a sheesha lounge with a few friends, if you haven't been to one before - try it. We usually go to The Factory in Nottingham, they do the most amazing milkshakes and it's all table (or sheesha) service and it's a nice way to spend an evening relaxing and mostly taking pictures of yourself pretending to be a dragon.

In reference to the title, go check out Ellie Gouldings cover of 'Tessellate' saxaphone goodness right there. I'm going to spend my evening gorging on curry and trying to purchase my holiday wardrobe (2 weeks to go, eep)

Man, I am loving this weather. Any excuse to get my pale skin out and blind a few people for a couple of hours before I burn! I haven't really worn any pieces from this outfit for a long time, partly the weather I guess, but I'm taking my boyfriends advice and trying to actually wear all the clothes I own however old, otherwise I'm going to be throwing alot of clothes away by the end of the year!

I'm still working all the hours under the sun, that's management for you, but I'm really trying not to let it get to me. A job's a job and it pays for my home at the end of the day. 

A quick little mention about my necklace aswell, if you haven't heard of Empty Casket then go check them out. They have such beautiful pieces full of amethyst and moons and crosses. I'm after the Tree of life trinket bottle necklace *hint hint* payday treat I'm thinking?
